start with a magic ring/loop

pull the yarn end to close the center space
sl st at top of the 1st dc;
To finish ROUND 1,
insert hook from back,
AND pull yarn through the st
Total 12 sts.
ROUND 2
3ch, 1dc in the same st;
2dc in every sts;
FOLLOW this pattern... (2dc)
sl st at the top of the 1st dc
To finish ROUND 2,
insert hook from back,
pull yarn through the st.
Total 24 sts.
ROUND 3
3ch, 1dc in the same st,
1dc in the next st;
2dc in the same st,
1dc in the next st;
FOLLOW this pattern... (2dc + 1dc)
sl st at the top of the 1st dc;
To finish the ROUND 3
insert hook from the back,
pull the yarn through the st.
